Product Description The original of this Bergere easy chair was made between 1805 and 1815 in Philadelphia and is displayed in the Sheraton Room of the Winterthur Museum. The high curved barrel back is surrounded by exposed Mahogany rails that lead to the solid curved arms terminating in acanthus leaf carving and rosettes. The front legs are turned and reeded, and the rear legs rake backward adding support and drama to this magnificent design. The seat has a loose cushion.
